I was wondering what the process was to joining the air force reserves as an officer. I did one enlistment in the navy as a aviation electronics technician E-5. I have been out for 5.5 years and have since gotten a B.S. in mechanical engineering and work as a mechanical design engineer at Lockheed Martin. I would like to rejoin the military as a reserve officer in some sort of aerospace maintenance/engineer field. Does anyone have any experience with this? If selected what kind of training should I expect? Any info is appreciated!
