Hi all, I am an Engineer (studied in America) in the middle of my career. I worked for several years at Boeing, and some other very relevant experience. I have been to Hamburg a few times for work, and absolutely love it. I have a couple German friends that work for Suppliers of Boeing/Airbus, and they've been very encouraging that my lack of German isn't a huge deal.
I feel like I have the perfect background to get involved, but having trouble gaining any ground. I've applied online, connected with recruiters on LinkedIn, and just have gotten zero response so far. I've even started spending a couple hours a day practicing German so that I could at least start an interview with some basic level of speech.
Does Airbus hire Americans like this? Is it just a matter of persistence? Is it the ex-Boeing part?
