who's required to get an autometry?
Post Body

I am a 2A9 and I have never been given an autometry. I've heard other fields like crew chiefs like my roommate being required to have one yearly or every 2 years. I've been told that our field doesn't need them because we don't deal with heavy mecheniery to require it but I call bs on that. Dealing with hobarts and jet run ups just being a baker or 2 away (I ware ppe when I can but still) doesn't mean I shouldn't be oppted out of it. Is there anything I can look at to tell my higher-ups that we need them? Kinda sucks developing a ring in my ear :/
