I'm considering separating at the end of my ADSC in a few year to go back to school, and am looking at some of the Guard jobs that are available. I'm an ABM currently, but am thinking about a career change based upon the jobs available where I end up. I know RPA pilots have a hard life, considering the bad base locations, few promotion opportunities, and shift work schedule, but I'm curious if this translates to the Guard and Reserves. In general, is non-Active Duty RPA pilot considered a good job and worth looking in to?
