Getting to work with a broken right foot.
Post Body

My right foot is broken but we have less than eight people who can work a brand new 24/7 mission. Sup told me to "figure it out" and be there for my twelve hour shifts.

My wife works active duty as well, and is pregnant, and is primary parent while I'm broken. Doctor and insurance say I can't drive.

I figure my options are 1) to make my wife suffer and constantly ferry me around, which would mean bringing our toddler too (this includes nights/weekends) 2) try to convince someone that I should be on days/straights, so I can carpool with my wife during her hours 3) ask the sq for volunteers or come up with an alternative idea.

Does anyone have any advice/suggestions? Anyone had to figure this out before?
