I was planning a vasectomy and instead of the two month wait list they had an appointment in two weeks (someone cancelled). I thought, "sweet, I'll just knock this out before I second guess myself." I got a doctor's note and faxed it to force health right away after the procedure (22nd) because I'm due to PT test in March. It's been a week and it's not signed, and I missed my pt test which I thought I had cancelled. I wasn't clear enough in my email to the UFPMs. So now my leadership (flight chiefs' meeting) thinks I'm trying, "to game the system" and is threatening me with paperwork if I don't straighten this out.
So of course I'm salty, but the main issue I have is that a bunch of SNCOs in a room decided I'm a dirt bag before I even knew the test hasn't been cancelled, and not a soul asked me for my side or anything that required a narrative response. If they have time to sip tea and pass judgement they can ask one friggin question that didn't dehumanize one of their NCOs.
