I don’t know much about air conditioners but I just moved to a new apartment and in this unit what I think it’s called the evaporator and it is supposed to be located inside the apartment, it’s actually outside of the apartment right next to the front door. My question is, is there any advantage or disadvantage of having this part of the system outside of the apartment ?? And should I invest in a better filter because it’s located outside or on the contrary being outside it will get less particles and dust ? Thank you
