Long story short, I'm about to stay in a couple of AirBnBs that seem pretty nice! But their listing photos are... not so amazing. Either the quality is weirdly low and blurry, or they're at odd angles and make it look a bit cluttered.
I'm not a professional photographer by any stretch, but I do have a pretty standard DSLR and take sort of averagely decent pictures.
Mostly, I was thinking to try and photograph the AirBnBs first, and then edit or colour correct the images to see if I can even do something acceptable before asking the hosts if they'd like the pics - would this be weird?
Also, should I ask the hosts first if they'd be fine with it? I'm a little concerned that if I let them know what I plan on doing and then the photos turn out cruddy, it'd be kind of a disappointment. I don't want to make them feel obliged to give me any sort of credit or discount either, since I wouldn't be doing this in any sort of professional capacity.
