Found tiny mouse in room, what to do? [FL, USA]

Post Body

So I found a tiny mouse in my room the day after I came in. At this time I hadn’t even unpacked much, so no food; and for the record I still don’t leave foods out. I figured the mouse came in from the storm and would be gone soon.

But I seen it again today. This time I have video evidence, so I know I’m not crazy. I told the host abd her friend who checked and was skeptical and gave me One Bite Rat Poison to place down. This is when I found the tiny mouse eating the poison, it didn’t even care much I noticed it.

I made all this known on the Airbnb app. The host didn’t like this, but it IS a rat, I don’t care how it looks bad. I’m from Brooklyn, and a baby mouse isn’t much to me, but it still needs to be addressed.

I sent the picture to her on airbnb a couple hours ago if the rat eating the poison she gave me. What else should I do? I don’t want to leave as the price is finally low enough I can stay for more than a couple weeks (I’m homeless and work remotely) but at the same time worried on this rat thing. It so far only seems one mouse. Nobody else seen it but me, but I showed others in the house the video (they were curious).

I like the host, I like the place, just for some reason this rat is here.
