As you guys can see from the pictures, my lemon tree is doing pretty good. It's growing tall and even grew 4 new branches a couple weeks ago 🥲 but I'm concerned about it's weak trunk. It's not able to support itself and I had to put two dowel rods in to hold it upright. What can I do to encourage more bark and a thicker, sturdier trunk? I'm not sure if you could see from the pics, but it has some bark on it already and it has reached pretty high, however it's not thick. Am I supposed to cut the new branches and growth? I honestly don't know if I can do that 😩. I thought I read somewhere that someone placed their tree in front of a fan to simulate wind and that helped their tree to thicken it's trunk and bark. What can I do guys?
