Hey I am 30 year old male trying his best to help out my aging disabled mother ,57, and grandma, 80, and have been since right around the the start of the pandemic, around 2019. Ended up moving in for that duration, grandma had triple bypass during this time and my mom was battling a brain tumor, and I was the only one that took them to every appointment. The recovery for both of them has been a very long battle and for sure have there good and bad days, I needed to move out at beginning of this year for my mental health and to be better son and grandson for them. During that time having to work full time and try to see them when I could things somewhat fell apart rather rapidly, not saying things were perfect when I lived with them either. But I am in difficult position where I had to somewhat stop working again to be there for help, both of them have fallen multiple times since I've moved out. If I'm not coming over and visibly investigating all I hear is we are fine, I know they don't want to be a burden. I have pretty much lived here again, since I'm over so much, since about beginning of August. I have already burned through my savings and struggling to do the whole work life balance. I've considered moving back in to help out more of the 24/7 kind of support I was previously giving to them. I am so grateful I have stumbled upon this group because I totally don't feel so alone anymore and would appreciate any help info that I can obtain. My story is much more then this brief overview as well but just venting it out there also and seeing others being so resilient during these trying times is very helpful as well.
