The Dzeri people were the first the Ban'so'garekan met millennia ago, and stories passed down still remain of the first explorers of the Ban'so'garekan people. The people had long traded since, and a grand road had existed for many years between the two that facilitated the trade. As time progressed, the Bagaroki Turfet developed and the relationship between the two peoples remained. The Turfet would remain active in the Dzeri people's lives, both politically and economically, and the two would share much culturally and societally. Dzeri troops would also often be seen in the armies paid for and raised by the Ban'so'garekan, and they would serve in important roles. The Turfet would watch closely as the tribes slowly unified, and by the time of the Sin'Aikas overthrowing of the bloodline of Asethon the Dzeri people were united under a single king, similar to Asethon centuries ago. The Sin'Aikas were different than the Turfet in their goals, however, and saw in the Dzeri something more than simply friendly tribes in the west. They saw real potential, and a partner worthy of the Sin'Aikas name.
They would send a letter to the King, Aziz I, and invite him and his court to a large celebration of the Dzeri-Ban'so'garekan relationship and the two people's long history together. The celebration would happen in the city of Bagaroki itself, and the expenses would be paid by the rich oligarchic families. It would be a grand festival with lots of partying and socializing, and more importantly a show of wealth to the Dzeri King. The Sin'Aikas were full of the rich and powerful, but they were not stupid with their influence. They had invited the King for a reason, and they would get their answer.
