Gápyãnã, Morning Light
Post Body

After the defeat of the Canaanites and the merchant families getting even more filthy rich, the trade with the east grew in prosperity and strength. However, outside of the established presence of the Canaanites, the Bagaroki families lacked much projection or influence of their own. In addition, as colonial influence and the various families expanded the existing ones in the Western Mediterranean, the families had already began searching for new opportunities to expand their wealth and whoever would host them. One of the older trading partners and a close cultural center of the Ban'so'garekan was the Tákīȑotso.

They had many great cities along the coast of the Lakuiltum'labeisir and many resources to offer. They also had a gigantic population compared to most other trading partners, which meant a significant market for goods and a large well-built society that would easily fulfill the need to sell the goods the mercantile families provided. The script the Ban'so'garekan used originated from this area, and the two cultures often interacted and shared ideas. Most importantly, however, there was a small settlement that provided the basis the merchant families needed to copy the same system that had used before, in the town of Gápyãnã, or the morning light. While it was not the largest settlement or the most important, it sat on the Nile Delta and was the closest to the main direction the Ban'so'garekan merchants would arrive from. It also sat low in elevation, allowing for large and sufficient harbors to be built with ease.

And thus the merchant families, on an official delegation from the Bagaroki Turfet now that the Sin'Aikas existed, offered the same they had offered many times before. They would ask for the blessing to have Ban'so'garekan settle in the city of Gápyãnã, and for the merchant families to provide not only the manpower but the resources and money necessary to construct the structures needed. This would include a large harbor to sustain the high-density shipping that would come with the settlement. In return, they asked for control over the harbor and political representation through an oligarchic council akin to the Sin'Aikas for the settlement. They would finally ask to construct a temple for worship of the Ban'so'garekan gods.
