The drums of war resonated throughout the southern Hasirean peninsula. In every Clan, every Kingdom - swords were sharped and the warbands were readied for one of the biggest sets of conflicts of the Fraternal Wars.
It had begun with the subjugation of the Kais-ke LakuilteĆa by the Kingdom of TaĆtesos as well as the decimation of part of the LuĆiti by the armies of TaĆtesos. These actions accelerated the reaction that the rival Kingdom - ElibeĆi under the rule of the Kais-ke LasiĆos. The mountains themselves seemed to come alive as the whole might of the LasiĆua Chain readied itself for a massive conflict in the plains of the TabaiĆen Valley. The OlĆkuan also armed themselves to come to the aid of ElibeĆi, seeing TaĆtesos as a greater threat to their independence.
Unbeknown to almost everyone however, were the actions and plots spearheaded by the Kiteiborsi. Having undergone negotiations with Bagaraki Turfet, the cousins of the Hasir, the Kiteiborsi managed to secure an army that no Hasir Clan or Kingdom had ever faced before. An army filled with the fiercest warriors of the LakuiltumâlabeisiĆ. An army that would reshape the Hasirean Peninsula.
Accounts of the impact of the Kelgoi on the Fraternal War differ and are up for interpretation. A recent scholarly take on the subject is upcoming and will be offered to the wider world shortly. In short however, the Kelgoi burned and slaughtered their way through the Clans and Kingdoms of the Hasir - setting the TabaiĆen Valley ablaze and very nearly burning LeguĆeaki, the capital of TaĆtesos, to the ground. All in accordance to the deal the Kiteiborsi had made with the Bagaraki Turfet. Defeat the enemies of the Kiteiborsi in exchange for an army, at the price of one of the Kiteiborsi's most notable cities.
What the Kiteiborsi or even the Ban'so neglected to do however, was to pay or offer rewards to the Kelgoi. Upon defeating and sacking LeguĆeaki, the Kelgoi horde was left wanting more and continued their way past the GuadiĆ River to plunder more of the Kingdom of TaĆtesos and eventually chose to settle in their conquered lands as well as a set of lands to the north that had been taken by the Kelgoi at the same time.
The passing of the Kelgoi sent massive reverberations across the peninsula, and would mark a new age for the Hasir'garokan.
