So I've been really hoping something like this would come about. I'm in Northwest Ohio and weirdly there are a ton of age gap couples that I've seen and know in the area of, both (all) gender scenarios, and they may be some of the best and long lasting relationships I know.
I've been interested in that dynamic because I don't feel like I have ever existed within what society generally considers normal for anyone's age, I was ridiculously mature for my age growing up and I now see myself as being more open minded and open to learning than people even younger than myself in some cases out in the world.
I'm just interested in trying to find my person but I don't see a good way to put myself out there that doesn't involve putting my face all over apps for the few interested people to see versus the tons that would assume negative things that might recognize me out in the world and the other groups on Reddit either are completely about just sex or don't want to you even mention to being single open.
I want to be here for the discussions and for giving positive advice and encouragement to others in general in my life. I don't want a sub like this to just become a personals group even if it's strictly serious relationship focused posts, but I don't see why it should be such a bad thing to try to put yourself out there as well just in the rare case someone in your area likes the sound of your gibberish and maybe is looking for more than a fling.
I want more normalization of AG relationships and the more of what I've read about this sub, I think will be the better for that.
