Ok it’s time to expose myself!!

I’m needy!! Not just surface level, I legit crave your attention!

For some reason when people are talking or dating or what have you, there’s this unspoken rule that you can’t like each other more than the other. You can’t be as interested in them as they are you. You can’t text or call them quickly or else that’ll look bad.

I don’t agree with this mindset whatsoever. If we like each other why shouldn’t we want to talk to each other as often as we can? Why do we have to play this game where we’re nonchalant about our feelings? That’s just ridiculous!

Now I’m not saying that we have to talk every second of the day, I understand that we have our own life, stress, responsibilities, hobbies, outside of this but a simple “hey, just thinking about you” text or a quick “hey I hope your day is going well” message would surely suffice.

I’m too old to play these games, to guess “does he like me” “did I say something wrong?” My intentions are very clear, I’m looking for a relationship, a companion, my best friend, the man I turn to when I’m having a rough day or need someone to talk to. (And of course I’ll be all those things for you)
