Why cats are better than people:
Cats don't ghost. They don't. When you earn the love and trust of the cat, it's for life.
cats are consistent. They don't go strange after the first day, and if they do, that means they need a vet visit, not for any other reason.
Cats don't scam, don't catfish (pardon the pun), and aren't fake. With a cat, what you see is what you get.
I never have to ask a cat to tell me about them. Literally, my biggest pet peeve is when I have to say the words....tell me about you.
Cats love unconditionally. Cats invented unconditional love. Cats don't care what you look like, how good or bad your day was, or how many fakes reach out to you from posts like these, they love you and you are their joy and their world.
Cats just know. When you're sad, stressed, or having the best day ever, they just know what to do to make sure you know that, whatever is going on, it's going to be just fine.
In my 50 years of life in NY, Brooklyn, and Long Island, half of which was spent owning, or being owned by cats, I have yet to find that in another human being.
Not that I haven't tried.
I'm a 50-year-old healthcare data analyst and cat podcast host from New York, Long Island to be exact. I'm 6 feet tall, have my hair, and have a dad bod despite never being anything other than a father to felines.
If you're from the East Coast of the US, an actual human being, and think you can prove me wrong, reach out, and say more than hello.
