This is probably a long shot.
I've spent much of the last 20 years honing my survival skills and planning my off-grid homestead. For the last two years, I've lived in a tiny home on wheels, touring the US to find an ideal location. One of the hardest lessons I've learned on the road is that the life I am working towards lacks one thing - a partner. I'm looking for someone who is inspired by the homesteading/off-grid lifestyle.
I put Maine in my title, but for the right person, location doesn't matter, as I am flexible there.
About Me:
5'8", brown hair/beard, blue/gray eyes, reasonably attractive 48. Built sort of like an NFL linebacker, only mini-size. College grad, stable remote job. No children, widowed. Doggo Dad to one four-legged furball, but love them all. I'm a practicing Pagan, as I mentioned in my title, but you don't have to be. My rule of thumb is don't try to convert me, I will do the same. Unless of course, you have interest, in which case I'm happy to share my faith.
Avid reader, writer, and outdoor enthusiast. I hiked the Appalachian Trail in my mid-20s and never lost my passion for hiking and backcountry camping. I am passionate about the environment and sustainable living. I also love to laugh, particularly at myself. Movies are another passion of mine as well, particularly comedies. I bake an amazing cheesecake.
About You:
Someone who possibly brings some skills to our home, although this isn't required. I can teach a lot of them and maybe we can learn some together! I'm searching for someone who is active, reasonably fit, intelligent and has a great sense of humor for those times when Murphy, of Murphy's Law fame, comes knocking.
Ideally, this individual would be fine being a stay-at-home spouse but a remote worker is great as well, if you prefer some financial independence. You would be between 20-30, although this isn't a dealbreaker as long as you have youthful energy (both physical and sexual) to match mine! Hopefully, we would have some mutual hobbies as well.
If you made it all the way to the end, yay! Thanks for reading. Good luck with your search!
