i am an ambitious grad student looking for my forever person! a little about me: i am a heavier (working out) blck girl with shoulder length locs, glasses, and 5'0. i am in grad school in DC and graduated undergrad in 2021. i am looking to apply for PhDs this fall for Fall 2024 (ask me about my research :) ). i absolutely love cats and looking to get some kittens when i find a pet friendly apartment. i love my stuffed animals, knitting, crocheting, napping, and taking Mandarin lessons for school. hopefully you dont mind my croc collection (i have croc flip flops, sandals, boots, rain boots, wedges...)

one may say that I am too busy for a relationship, although that may be true, i am looking to establish a foundation for a relationship before school starts so that there will be promise as the year progresses. i do make time for someone that i feel appreciates me and i appreciate them and want to spend time with them. i will make time for that person i want to always be around when im not in night classes or work.

on the other hand, i am looking for something that has the potential to be a serious relationship with the ability to meet up and hang out. i want someone that is interested in me and I in them. i love talking on the phone, asking about your day, spending quiet time together, or going on car rides. i am someone that struggles with depression and anxiety so patience is a must. i am actively working on myself in therapy and having a lot of life changes that i want to share. i want to share my milestones with you and you with me! i want someone that is looking for their person that is interested in them and makes them feel wanted and needed.

physical appearance is not all that important. it is a plus if you have a beard, a deep voice, and run cold since i run hot haha, but not required. humor, sarcasm, dark humor, and cuddles are a must (absolute deal breakers). oh yeah, you have to pass the stuffy vibe check...good luck.

i have no car right now but wouldnt mind meeting someplace nearby after extremely comfortable with one another and the feeling that something romantic could be mutual. i am looking for something to turn in person, so i am sorry to say, no one outside of DC, MD, and VA.
