Hey everyone, this is my first post on here so sorry if I somehow mess this up. Im currently in an age gap relationship of 25 years (I’m in my early 20s & he’s mid 40s) & we’re EXTREMELY happy, & i don’t mean just fairytale happy, it’s a kind of happy you can’t explain to someone else who isn’t in your shoes kind of a happy. My partner is amazing, but we have a lot of social differences, im Jamaican & he’s Italian, he’s Christian, im a practicing natural healer, obviously age, but other than that we get along so so well. We constantly learning about each other & ourselves & for the first time in all our relationships we’re both letting our guards down & trying to better ourselves and let go off ‘toxic’ habits so we don’t jeopardise and self sabotage. He got divorced after 15years of marriage 5years ago, & never wanted to get married again (had been in a few relationships after the divorce) and never had/ wanted kids & when we met the first night we felt so comfortable with each other we told each other EVERYTHING, but now 6-7months down the line, we’re engaged & trying for a baby… BUT my family (except my siblings, minus 1) know about us, but not my mom. I’m so nervous, and i know i have to tell her soon since im moving out & we’re getting a house because we want a dog lol 😂❤️
