Hello.
I would like to show appreciation to my partner more by doing or organising "something special". We stay at home a lot and I enjoy making food for him, give him back rubs/massages/scratches, feet massages etc, hug him from behind, general affectionate stuff. Sometimes ask him about his work and what he's doing etc, keeping the house clean. Of course there's "other" activity we do as well but that is a private thing!
He says I'm doing great and I don't need to set high expectations for myself, he it's happy with what I do. I just always feel like I could be doing more. That's within myself though.
Maybe I can book him a massage? What do you guys do for your partners for surprises? Something novel. Book a sports game?
Also just trying to think of things we can do together in general that doesn't involve restaurants/food. He doesn't care about museums, and we both want to avoid drinking. He likes super simple stuff like nature and just chilling out. A couples cooking class or painting wouldn't interest him.
If you want to use this as a general discussion I thread don't mind either, if allowed.
