This is a work in progress - I'll probably finish it by the end of Easter, but decided to jot down some thoughts as they occur, so do check in occasionally to see what else has popped into my head.
Don't take the section headings too seriously, I'm having a Spaghetti Western session...
The Good
We seem to be increasing our subscribers at about 10% a month, and I welcome both new and old readers of this subreddit.
One of the nicest things to read is when I see posts expressing how happy people are that they have found this subreddit.
With vaccination programs beginning to proceed, hopefully many age gap relationships will be able to make the transition from being online/ long distance to actually meeting up and being a 'proper' relationship. I wish you well if and when that happens.
The Bad
As some people have pointed out, there are less 'older woman/ younger man' relationships mentioned here, a combination of the fact they're probably less common and that other subreddits tend to specifically cover this area. However, people are coming round to the fact there is a different 'tone' in here than /r/cougarsAndCubs, and feel more comfortable posting in here.
...and the Ugly
On the downside, people who reply to posts saying 'you shouldn't be on here' are wrong unless they specifically break our rules. Whilst the primary purpose of this subreddit is to advise and discuss, it is always the intention that this subreddit accepts virtually anything age gap related, regardless of sexual orientation, (legal) age difference, or even whether it NSFW or not (providing it is appropriately flagged).
