Post Body

Weā€™ve been together for almost 3 years now and things have been going great. I love him a lot, we get along very well.

My path so far is that Iā€™ve just started my career, and moved into my very small studio apartment. On the contrary, heā€™s very successful in his field, earns triple my salary, owns his own place, and has the flexibility to travel. Nonetheless, heā€™s been very supportive of me, even when I was going through my post grad crisis.

However sometimes, I get envious of his success: heā€™s done so much cool stuff in his life and heā€™s doing still doing cool stuff now while Iā€™m trying to build myself up. Heā€™s talking about all the things he wants to accomplish for the new year and itā€™s wild to me, itā€™s actual adult stuff. I low-key want what he has and itā€™s making me start to drift away from him. Is this what people mean when they say ā€œitā€™ll never work out, youā€™re in different stages of lifeā€. I kinda want it to work out but we are in very much different stages of life.
