i keep getting mixed signals from this naturally flirty guy i’m mutuals with! we don’t see each other often but when we do, i feel a different sorta vibe or energy i don’t get with anyone else, tension maybe almost? so im just going to list a few things he does that confuses me because it’s never clear.

1. when all the smokers, everyone but me lol, step outside or something for a break, he rarely goes. most of the time he’ll stay back and have conversations with me that he actually seems interested in and wants to know more about.
2. whenever i first enter a room without seeing him for a while, we’ll lock eyes and he’ll do this little playful smirk with a head nod. i’ve noticed he doesn’t do it to anyone else.
3. during one of our conversations, i mentioned this new guy i recently became friends with, of course he had to playfully ask if it’s my boyfriend and whatever. months later, without even bringing the guy up since that convo, he brought him up by asking me if i was dating him. name and everything lol i said no of course and he said “good, don’t date him”… in a playful way again.
4. we were plating dinner around the island and he walked behind me, slid his hand across my lower back to get on the other side of me and then proceeded to lean in and whisper something funny. which is only a little unusual because he has always been a little scared to touch me i think haha later on, we were sitting around a table having a few drinks and i was sat beside him with my legs crossed, he would look at me with that little smirk and then playfully knock my leg off with his foot and would do that a few times.
5. i was at his house one time and he just bought this new fancy car and asked for a ride. he told me no because he had a few drinks so he told me to hop into the passenger seat instead. i did of course and i didn’t expect him to follow, he hopped in the drivers seat and the entire time was just this intense energy with major eye contact while he showed me all the cool things about the car.

just would like a few opinions on what you think and what i should do?
