Young women are surpassing young men. Is age gap for us?

As an accomplished young woman, I've always found it hard to date guys my age. Recently, an article was written where the thesis is basically that young women are surpassing young men. Young women are now more educated and are out earning young men, leaving them behind. This is a bit troubling as we now have tons of amazing young women who are unable to find their counterparts within their age bracket.

This really got me thinking. Are older men the answer? I've consistently dated older men and they've been my best relationships. While I still do find guys my age attractive, it has been made clear that I'm on a different planet than them. I shouldn't have to suffer a detriment for being intelligent, having a good career, and having access to certain things. Many young men find it intimidating and in my experience, it has caused a great deal of resentment and jealousy. Older men tend be more established and more comfortable in their status in society. There's usually no "competition" and mostly encouragement, support, mentorship, and advice.

I know this sub tends to lean more on the sexual, kink, and emotional aspects of a relationship (which is fine), but what about viewing things from a sociological and compatibility standpoint? I know money, education, and experience are not EVERYTHING, but it is important to discuss if we truly desire good and lasting relationships. So is an agr for us accomplished and ambitious young women? I'd think so.
