Hey all. So, I'm a 57-year-old man who dates younger women almost exclusively. Obviously, I love their company and most everything about them, but some of their phrases get on my nerves. A LOT! I was curious if I'm just a stick in the mud or if others experience this. Maybe if we list the phrases that irk us, younger women seeking older men's company could get a sense of how we perceive their speech. If nothing else, we can have a little vent.
I'll start:
"Bruh", or "Bro". It's been beaten to death and some girls I've met have actually called ME that. I have to correct them on that one immediately, it rankles me so much.
This one may be just me, but a profusion of cussing in every sentence lowers their quality in my eyes. Cussing in a sexual situation is hot to me, but being unable to form a sentence without peppering it with expletives makes them look uneducated.
Any additions for you?
