I'm 45m, she's 22f, she messaged me on my nsfw twitter last Nov and we hit it off and have been talking almost every day since, and honestly it's been really good. Problem is she lives with her parents on the other side of the US, and she's not only dead certain there's no way they would approve of us dating or her moving in with me, she's convinced she'd have to lie about the whole thing just to get them to let her visit me. She keeps telling me that she wants to be mine forever but she can't even get out from under her parents enough to come see me, and if I came to visit her she says she'd want to be super clandestine about it so her parents wouldn't know anything's up. I'm just like girl you're almost 23 years old, how are we supposed to be together if you can't live your own life, but she's really close with them and struggles to stand up to them and I don't want to fuck up her relationship with them, but also honestly I love her and I want her to be mine for real, I don't want to have to just dump her over this. Age gap or no, I figured dating someone old enough to be done with college I wouldn't have to deal with these parent problems. I'm tall, handsome, professional, charming, moneyed, from a good family, like I'm obviously a catch apart from the age gap and my not being christian.

What should she tell her parents? What should I tell her? How do we move this relationship forward so that we can actually be together? I hate lying, and I don't want her to have to lie to her parents about me, that doesn't seem like a reasonable basis for a long term relationship, but she thinks it will be a terrible fight that she can't win.
