Haven’t posted in this sub in about 2 years. Honestly things have been going so well I haven’t needed the advice or the space to rant :)

Feel free to look at my old posts for more info but just wanted to put a happy ending story out there.

My boyfriend (43) and I (26) got our house about a year ago! We got our dream dog, another cat, our kids (his kids from his previous relationship), have their own rooms, and everything for the most part has been just fantastic.

Some ups and downs of course. The bills being higher was an adjustment financially. Another adjustment I didn’t foresee was having more space being an issue… in our apartment we were around each other all the time. Tiny apartment no where else to go. In the house we aren’t right in each others faces all the time upstairs, downstairs, outside, etc. surprisingly that got under my skin for about a month or 2 as I felt like we weren’t hanging out at home as much as we used to. But that also improved around the 3-4 month mark in the house!

Lastly… I’m 5 weeks pregnant! I know it’s still very early in my pregnancy but I’m cautiously excited. Everything’s going my way and just… if you would’ve told me this was my future when I made my first post in this sub I would’ve cried happy tears
