When you are younger and start noticing the opposite sex (giggle he said sex) you are in your early to mid teens. So yeah, it only makes sense that you are "obsessed with" older folks. because all the ones you see that interest you are, indeed, older. You aren't going to be looking at people younger than you. So yeah, you see celebrities you think are hot. Or family friends that give you those thoughts. Thoughts you don't understand yet or know what to do about, obviously.

I think look think back to my pubescent years. (can't really look back, we had no photographic evidence of our misdeeds back then) It was all posters of rock stars and teen idols and sports illustrated swimsuit issue models. And let's not forget the occasional Playboy mag we got lucky to find and have hidden under our mattress. (or if you were really lucky you got a Penthouse or Swank. Google it boys and girls)

So yeah, we idolized older people. Some just never lost that interest as they got older. But as all these young-uns get older will the gap of age that they are attracted to become narrower? Never know really. Everyone is different.
