Is bad English the norm for genZs or I'm seeing scammers on dating subreddits?

Post Body

This might sound like a dumb question, but there are so many posts on dating subreddits that purport to be young females located in the US sporting really bad English.

Things like poor grammar, weird usage of words, unheard of expressions, inconsistent punctuations, etc.

Of course there are non native speakers living in English speaking countries, but the sheer number of such posts suggests something else.

Autofill could explain some of it, but not all.

As a middle aged man I'm not sure if this is how genZ's attempts at writing in full sentences or these are simply scammers from a non English speaking country???
