I often see the term "maturity" being thrown around as both a way for young women to inflate their egos and for older men to manipulate them because they are "mature for your age".
How does one really evaluate and measure maturity? Since it's a very subjective standard, I'm curious what the community thinks.
Any specific examples?
Personally, I am inclined to say maturity comes from experiences, which is closely related to age. This goes for both men and women because there are certainly plenty of stories here about immature men.
Example. A 30 year old man who was in a relationship for 12 years with one person can have more relationship experience compared to someone in their 40s who may not have had a relationship last more than a couple years.
