Question. Is Enoki mycelium whispy, and very fast too?

I've just done a couple attempts at starting enoki from a weak spore print i took last year, and one plate took off, got contam but outgrew/grew over some green mould.
i've transfered out to water agar as well as a few mea w/soy peptone and pda w/karo instead of dextrose.
its already showing signs of steady quick growth, and im just wondering how tenacious exactly enoki on agar is. it's to the speed and wispyness that appears suspect.
