r/TumblrInAction has gone full mask off, they are now a transgender hate subreddit
Post Body

TumblrInAction has always been a subreddit for those who want to sit around and hate others for their differences, in the context that it's a "joke" and that they're only ever doing it to people that either "deserve it" or are being "absurd" in their identities. That hate has always led to them toeing the line between outright hate subreddit and satire subreddit, which attracts people that only want to participate in the hate portions of the community.

After the initial GenderCritical ban-wave we saw the users from that subreddit flock to offsite websites or small subreddits that aren't monitored closely (if at all), like AskGayBros for example.

TumblrInAction however needs to have a closer eye on it. We've had numerous posts here about the subreddit, examples:

These posts in our subreddit are just within the last year even. There are more posts about them than I think is worth submitting in this post alone. To add on to these posts, here are a few of the more noteworthy posts from the past month or so:

  • Here's a post where they praise the previously banned ItsAFetish subreddit, which was banned for being an active hate subreddit:
    https://archive.is/pKdXv
    Some of the upvoted comments:
    • "It’s a fetish"
    • "Remember /r/itsafetish? I ‘membered it. Too based for a cringe site."
    • "I think this is all just trauma based disorder, helped along by internet based grooming and identity politics."
    • "Shoutout to these freaks for reviving and perpetuating the societal notion the LGBT people are perverts. Thanks guys splendid job."
  • Here's a post praising SuperStraights, a transphobic movement that still plagues Reddit to this day:
    https://archive.is/bnaob
    Some of the upvoted comments:
    • "It's a simple trail: Potential transitioning individual realizes that surgeries and hormone treatments won't make them widely appealing as they idealize - this harms the profits of big pharma, who are the ones who pay off tech/schools/media/politicians.
Big pharma wants people to transition - not to help with any sort of dysphoria, they couldn't care less - as profit is their one and only goal. All these other corporations and big names are paid to support this, with cancel culture being manufactured over the years through them as the 'safety net'."
    • "Yes I am a Nazi #gasthejews #oyvey"

There's more. There's a lot more. The subreddit hasn't removed these posts or comments because the mods are either complicit with these statements or haven't been active in years.

I'm legitimately tired of these transphobic communities being allowed to stay up and Reddit doing absolutely nothing about them.
