Lockers
Post Body

Hey everyone! I've been going to Aftershock for 5 years now and thought I'd do a quick write up on lockers in case anyone finds it useful.

  1. Lockers are AWESOME at this festival, especially given the bag restrictions. Carrying around your things all day gets old, especially if you're into dancing/moshing/running from stage to stage. Many people don't bring items they probably need because they don't want to carry them around (i.e. a change of clothes or sweatshirt for when it gets chilly at night, which it does.) Lockers allow you to get there, put your stuff away, and return as needed. Great place to store your merch too. If it's in your budget, do it.

  2. There are GA lockers and VIP lockers. Make sure you get a locker for the type of ticket you have. One year I accidentally got the wrong one and thank goodness they took pity on me and fixed it, because you can't get to the VIP lockers unless you have a VIP wristband.

  3. Don't count on getting a locker when you arrive. They frequently sell out. The price is the same in advance as it is when you arrive, so there's no benefit in waiting. Plus, the line to get one day-of can be brutal. Advance purchase is generally very quick.

  4. Lockers are decent sized. Big enough for 2 people no problem. Can fit clothing, a small backpack, and other small personal items. I don't suggest sharing it with more than 3 people unless you don't have much stuff. Don't worry about multiple people sharing keys, the locks are combo locks.

  5. Take a picture of your combo when you get it. They give you a slip, but the likelihood of you losing it over 3 days while you're drinking is very good.

  6. If you get a locker, here's a 10% promo code I found. It worked for me, should work for others as well and every little bit helps. TKM4BY
