Workflow between Premiere? When to use AE vs Premiere

When you edit videos do you find yourself only staying in AE or hoping over to Premiere for longer projects (5 mins) ? I want to use AE more often but most of my editing is 10-20min videos and I just find that hard to do in AE? I know dynamic link is a thing but I never found it that great, I still think it doesn't make it very seamless work around.

TLDR: When do you decide to edit in premiere VS AE, is a duration of the video thing? Any work arounds to stay in AE more than having to go to Premiere?
