I have been visiting this subreddit since 2016 and have always wondered what the early days of it were like. Recently I was bored and had some time on my hands, so I decided to find out. After a little searching I found out about a search tool called redditsearch.io which allowed me to find the answer. It turns out that this sub was pretty dead from May 19, 2009 which is probably the date that u/imexius created it and it didn’t start popping off until u/Fdana took over and revitalized the sub on July 9, 2015. On a side note: This sub went through a really weird phase in fall 2015 where some bots were making a bunch of posts that linked to pirated movie streams on other websites.
