Okay so this may or may not be the right place for what I am looking for - not truly looking for an AP in the traditional sense for these posts. I am looking for kind of specifically a work out/jogging partner, but one that can talk about things, preferably in this world scope, has similar interests and would like to have someone in their corner respectively to encourage and keep them accountable in certain life goals.

I am good looking and not really out of shape. I am athletic but as life has taken its toll I have need of someone to keep me motivated to get back out there and tone back up, find my speed and drop some pounds and maybe even replace them with a few pounds of muscle.

45M and never been a gym rat just played sports. With kids and SO and the job and injuries just wanting to get out there has such an appeal to me but I struggle to find the motivation. Since this is not a traditional request in that sense I am not so concerned about attraction. I would ask that you be somewhat in shape and looking to do the same. Of course this would be after vetting and compatibility and comfort that we both are then comfortable to either run in or meet equidistant to respective neighborhoods and jog/speed walk and dish the tea, vent, talk about our favorite nerdy stuff. A friend which could potentially lead to emotional affair which is why I’m here and not elsewhere and depending on how it goes could be open to more. You can use your imagination I’m sure.
