I am a sixty year old Husband and the Wife is the same age.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for many years. We are both 60 with grown adult children . I love love love her and our life together. She is a great wife!
BUT. I am. So. BORED. I feel like our life is super… stuck on auto drive to put it lightly.
Our sex life is.. LOL. It’s not that we don’t have sex… it’s that it sucks to be honest. It kind of always has. I don’t really know how to fix it. We’re like best friends and I love her, but I feel like there’s no fireworks or sparks left.
The bedroom lately is mostly dead and almost no sex as the wife seems to have lost her desire for intimacy. She does say that she loves me .. but that is about it.
Kissing? I love kissing.. The wife and I would kiss and kiss more.. but this is not taking place now. She has had life changing medical issues that have eliminated her hormone production and she is not able to take replacement hormones.
I guess some would say to keep an upper lip and take the good with the bad. I am not planning to change any part of my marriage or home life. I am just BORED and would enjoy a married woman or single woman that would chat with me or maybe if you are in Houston - later on who knows?
Is this just how it is when you’ve been married awhile? Please say it isn’t. Help!
