Well, this is likely to be as much about trying to find that extra level of human interaction to help bring balance back to my life and not just physical activities, but since it seems like locals are hard to find, I might as well cut loose a little, shake that proverbial forbidden tree, and see what fruits might come down from it.

The basics go something like this:

• 47, Cis Male, married, college educated.
• Dark hair, glasses, dad bod but no kids.
• Bilingual only because I'm not confident in my French, (but Spanish & English aren't a problem.)
  
• Hispanic.
• I live in California, and because it is a big state, you'll need to know I'm in the central coast area.
• Also: not a smoker but I work at a pot farm, and a casual light drinker.
• Sci Fi fan, cool with bugs and scaly things, for the most part.

That's more or less an "about me" starter. If the bullet points match your checklist or bingo card items, feel free to write in and introduce yourself, even if you think you don't meet the criteria I'm looking for. We might surprise each other and click unexpectedly! Or not, but the only way to tell for sure is to actually talk with each other.

As to what I'm looking for (preferentially, although I'm looking for a real person, so this is a set of guidelines/suggestions, and not a grocery list to complete:

• Preferably someone Local, about my age, in a similar situation.
  
• An activity partner would be nice, in terms of being able to go and do stuff I don't get to at home. (And I'm not talking kinky sex here, but more stuff like day hikes, exploring the outdoors and actual exercise type stuff. Plus it makes for a great excuse to go out for a while. Mind you, if we get to a point where kinky sex is an option, we can discuss those things then.)
• A sense of humor would be a plus.
• I'm not looking for a model. I'm no Brad Pitt, and you don't have to be Jennifer Aniston. Just be comfortable in your own skin, and I'll do the same.
