Hi all
I’m a long time poster but never seem to have been able to find that one person I’m looking for so here I am, the eternal optimist, trying again!
I’m a 42 year old married man from London. I have 2 kids and a busy but fulfilling job. My marriage isn’t terrible or anything but certainly lacks something. I think like a lot of people in my situation, you come to realise that you have invested so much of yourself into the relationship and the family and what they need, that one day you realise you’ve lost a lot of yourself in the process. I don’t resent my family or all of the effort I put in but sometimes you just want to be the top of someone’s priority list even if it’s just occasionally, and not be an afterthought or an fixture in the background
I’m looking for someone I can be me with, someone that I can help to discover themselves again and re-discover myself in the process. Hopefully we can find a spark and some connection and build something great.
To be be boring and practical for a second, Just from a timezone perspective UK or Europe would be ideal but EST can work sometimes too.
About me: I am a standard, by-the-book, middle aged nerd. I love all things sci-fi and fantasy and all types of 80s and 90s nostalgia (probably considered ancient history to most of you). I love art, books, music, politics, fashion and culture and will talk for hours about most of it.
