I’m a married, handsome man looking for an exclusive, ongoing affair. I’ve had an affair before and miss so much about it: connecting with someone I can talk to about anything, the excitement of checking my phone first thing in the morning and before I close my eyes at night, the thrill of meetups, the first kiss, holding hands, passionate sex, and that incredible feeling of being alive.
One thing I know from my years as a single man before I got married is that abstract ideals fall to the wayside when you are dating. You can tell yourself that you are looking for certain qualities, but if you meet someone exciting, someone with whom you have chemistry, those checklists become irrelevant. So the trick is to be open, to allow for surprises and sudden turns. In this spirit, I am not going to define a "type" that I want, except to say you should, like me, be kind, smart, thoughtful, and articulate -- and love making out :)
Things I like include the smell of old books, reading at night while a scented candle burns, whispering, daydreaming, holding hands, tea, vinyl records, antiques, cats, linen sheets, a fire in the fireplace, sweater days, prime numbers, and puzzling over the mysteries of existence.
I'm hoping to find someone with the flexibility to meet in the daytime on weekdays (say, once every week or two, or a few times a month). I work an executive-level professional job with flexible daytime hours, such that I can often escape for a weekday daytime date.
