Hello, I figured I'd give an add a go and see if there's anybody I get along with to chat to. I've not been on reddit long so probably don't know any better yet.

I'm happy to talk to anyone here, it's half meeting someone i can connect with and half creating a newer circle of people to chat with. I'm open to see if we connect as friends or more. I guess I should give you some information about me first so here goes.

• I'm 42, 5ft 11", short brown hair and blue eyes. Recently more of a dad bod!
• I'm married and have been for nearly 19 years. I'm not here to bitch about the issues there or my wife, we are all here because we have things missing in our relationships. *I have children I'm very proud of.
• I have two jobs, one has a reactive element to it. The other is completely reactive. I'm mentioning it because I can dissappear from chats. It's probably important to say that upfront, it's been my normal for 15 years but I know that's probably not the same for everyone.
• I am very confident but I'm not arrogant with it.
• I have a good circle of friends but have found over the years they have deviated to a very sensible life. I'm not criticising their choice but if I'm honest it's a little boring all the time.
• I'm just starting to get back into my old hobbies, life I'm general put a stop to them. I've just started scuba diving again after 15 years, not sure I've got the skills to surf again though.
• I have thrown myself into work for a long time and do work a lot of hour but both jobs are really flexible, I can generally chat at anytime but there are some restrictions. I am happy to explain if we get comfortable talking. I'm also very proud of both jobs and the work myself and my teams do.
• More than happy to just chat online upto in person depending on connection. I don't ghost people and would ask if we don't connect you were just honest about it.

I'm looking for a range of people, happy to chat but would need a connection for anything beyond friends.More than happy to meet in person for coffee/breakfast/lunch with local people I've talked to but will be honest, attraction is needed for any other types of meeting.

• personality is a huge must, I spend so much time with serious people and having to be serious in my jobs. Light hearted, cheeky, sarcastic are all a huge plus for me.
• willing to actually chat.
• Confident in themselves.
