Let me buy you a drink. Let's speak first of the small things in life we find we have in common: an eclectic but highly curated collection of music on our Spotify playlists; fond memories of the first time we read Middlemarch; wanderlust; and a minor passion for shooting pool though we admit our skill level is not what it was when we were younger and had more time to sharpen our prowess with the cue. You touch my arm, at one point, to draw my attention to something you are saying. I put my hand briefly on your thigh as you make me laugh. Maybe later, I touch your thigh and let my hand linger for a while. And maybe, just maybe, you part your legs ever so slightly to signal your interest is mounting toward desire.
To be blunt and upfront, physical attraction matters. I'm tall and slim and look fetching in anything from a suit to jeans and leather jacket. You've still got it as well and know that for someone over 40, you are holding your own. I don't really have an age bracket, but I'm just guessing over 40 is going to be the most likely demographic (but hey, if you are curious and between 30 and 40, I won't say 'no').
I'm in DC and have a full life with lots of professional obligations. But I want to steal some time away from it all with you. Hope you feel the same.
