I"m 48 years old, 5'9" blue eyes, brown hair decent shape active dad, married with 3 kids and a dog.

I'll get right to it. I'm not a tough nut to crack. I tend to view myself as open and warm and I try my best to be kind. I'll talk about just about any topic and you don't need to dig to get to the heart of who I am.

But I'm also confident in who I am. That doesn't mean I'm arrogant (I'm nowhere close to that), it just means I'm not desperate or willing to change who I am. It also means I'm up front and honest. If it doesn't seem like we are clicking, I'll let you know up front. I won't ghost or be wishy washy.

With that out of the way, I'll tell you a bit more about myself. I live in suburbia, but I love to be out in nature and a few days in the wilderness is treat. I also love an evening out in the city and appreciate going to good restaurants and being somewhere busy. I like the best of both worlds. I'm not Bear Grylls, but getting out and backpacking for a few days in the mountains is always enjoyable. Camping, hiking, backpacking, and fishing are all things I very much enjoy. I love to travel as well and am happy to talk about some of the places I've been and enjoyed.

I'm not a gym rat, but I go to the gym with my kids 5 days a week and I enjoy the feeling after lifting heavy things or spending time on the stair climber. I'm in decent shape but I'm not an Adonis.

I enjoy sports. I guess it would be football, basketball, and baseball in that order. But outside of sports, I don't watch a whole lot of TV.

I'm kind of all over the place with music and movies. If you ask me about top artists or movies, I don't really have top 5 lists or anything like that. The best movie I've seen recently was Logan Lucky. That movie is like 5 years old, but I saw it for the first time and I loved it. So if you've seen that one, let me know because I could watch that one again.

I'll answer questions you have about my marriage, but I'm not going to drone on complaining about it or my wife. I am however happy to be a listening ear to whatever you want to share or if you need to vent about whatever, I like being a sounding board. I'm an open book in general. There aren't many topics you could ask me about that I won't answer.

I'm not here just for entertainment. When the right thing comes along, I'll know it.

There needs to be mutual physical and sexual attraction between us. That doesn't mean that's the focus or that I'm expecting a certain "type," but it needs to be there.

I prefer someone over 40. Maybe it might work at 35 , but if you are younger than that, I just don't think we'll have a lot in common.
