I'm intending for this NOT to be like every other meticulously curated tableau of one's greatest hits. I'm a real person. Not aiming to put off some sexy mysterious bravado vibe because I think it might attract women. In fact, I chuckled trying to picture myself as whatever roguish one-in-a-million dive bar "catch" someone might imagine. I don't want the kind of woman who'd be attracted by a manufactured sexy mysterious bravado internet vibe.

I'm generally introverted in groups, but love deep discussions with one or two people, even if it's about shallow topics. The passion a person feels about something is contagious to me. I'd describe myself as curious, and maybe awwshucksy charming.

The terms educated and professional tend to find their way into these things, and while neither would land near the top attributes with which I'd think to describe myself, they do both apply.

I'm 6'1, a broad-shouldered 235 - a few pounds to lose, it's a process - I'm a gym regular. Dark hair, false-hazel eyes, salt splitting rent with the pepper in my trimmed beard, attractively conventional. 😄

I am looking for an emotional connection, and once that's established, I'm also looking for an eventual in-person relationship. I specify that because I was only recently clued in that a problem ladies are having on here is an apparent epidemic of cowardly guys who talk a good game but never plan on leaving fantasyland. Until I found that out, I was a lot more reticent about how to say I'm looking for an eventual in-person connection, for fear of coming across the wrong way. I have no interest in just a nsa / fuck-buddy situation (honestly, eww), but I want the emotional connection of a real affair.

I'd probably connect with somebody within, say, 5-to-8-ish years in either direction, but as long as a gal doesn't sound like a tiktok reel on one end or Aunt Pearl on the other 😉, I'm more interested in who a person is than what their birth year was. As for physical attributes, I want to find someone who smiles with her eyes.
