I find myself in a unique situation and am reaching out for some perspective. I’ve always enjoyed a more casual approach to relationships, particularly through online connections, but I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in how these relationships unfold, especially with local connections.
To provide a bit of context: I’ve been in a marriage where my wife's workaholic tendencies leave me seeking distractions from the routine of day-to-day life. In this environment, I've had several experiences with affair partners (APs) that provide a certain level of enjoyment and excitement. When the opportunity to meet in person arises, I’ve found it to be a rewarding experience. However, these interactions have not been consistent or easy to coordinate.
In my search for a more reliable connection locally, I’ve faced numerous challenges: ghosting, false starts, and the frustration of conversations fizzling out before they even have a chance to develop. These experiences have left me questioning my strategy and whether I am cut out for as the results have often felt disheartening and “icky.”
So if you are local and feeling the same HMU.
