And so as a new year dawns I find myself here, looking for love in all the wrong places.

I'm the kind of guy that to most people, looks like I have my sh*t together. I have the marriage, the career, and am well-liked by my friends. I wouldn't say I'm exactly normal– rather somewhat unconventional and a little neurospicey– but I'd say I'm emotionally mature, engaging, and hopefully not boring at the very least.

But at the risk of sounding cliched, there's a big something missing in my life. I long for somebody who will make my mind race and my heart beat faster. Somebody whose mind and body enthral me. And somebody who feels those things for me too.

The person I'm looking for will be somebody who, like myself, is earnest in their affections and not a player of games. As strange as it may sound given that I'm posting here, I'm a genuine person and not fickle in my affections, and I'm looking to build something that will last. Physical attraction matters of course. I keep myself in good shape and have even been accused of being handsome, so let's just be realistic and swap some photos once basic trust is established to save wasting everyone's time.

Although it's not my singular goal and not something I wish to rush, sex is important too of course. I'm a giving, open-minded lover and very much open to (and experienced with) some of life's kinkier pleasures if that's your bag, but that's by no means a dealbreaker. Suffice to say that if and when we do hit it off online, I'd eventually like to be able to meet and for us to enjoy each other as often as we are able, so please be at least open to that too.
