We do this everyday, don’t we? Pass each other on the coffee shop or the grocery store. Eyes, perhaps, briefly touching, the hint of a smile touching the corners of our mouths. Fleeting moments that fade as quickly as they appear. None of us knowing, or even daring to believe, that the other may be a fellow seeker. Someone else looking to fill the spaces in between that for so long we didn’t even know where there. What are we looking for? Who are we trying to find? Maybe we know, maybe we’re still discovering. Either way, maybe we can figure it out together.
I’m a 43 year old white man looking for a seeker like me. I’m a conversationalist and enjoy long chats, belly laughs, and appreciating the small moments. I’m fairly active and enjoy being outdoors, but I just as much enjoy a good coffee under a warm blanket with a good movie. I’m 5’9”, 175lbs, athletic build (actually today, December 26, 2024 athletic, not five years ago athletic). I shave my head because I’ve accepted the nature of aging, and I wear a well maintained beard. I love to cook, to read, appreciate silence, and will go to the fair every day it’s open. I’m interesting, interested, not afraid to be silly, and love to embrace all that life has to offer. This is not my first time taking this path and I understand both what it takes and how to stay safe.
I’m looking for a woman in a similar place, a few years plus or minus my age. You should similarly enjoy the adventure of life and want to make the most of it. Let’s go on dates, take a hike, curl up on the couch, and be the one for each other that fills the space in between. I am looking for something lasting and real.
