I’m married, but lonely. I’m a family man and we really have a great situation for our children so I don’t want to mess that up. But my loneliness is really affecting my mental health and I’m trying to reach out and find someone who might be in a similar situation, or at least understanding.

About me: I’m a pretty funny dude, although I can’t think of anything funny to say at the moment to prove that. Too much pressure! But trust me, I’m a huge goofy dork haha. So if you’re looking for someone “cool” then I’m not your guy. I’m on the spectrum, and socially awkward, but very friendly. You’d really be best getting to know me online. I’m not 100% opposed to meeting in person, but it has to be the right circumstance. I’m also pretty intelligent, educated, can be very deep and intellectual, and very bad at small talk. I’m a nerd and enjoy science, gaming, science fiction and fantasy, dungeons and dragons, and much more. If looks matter I’m an average height chubby bearded dad so if that does matter and you don’t like that then move on. Nothing hurts more than to get to know someone only to have them immediately ghost you when you share photos.

You: Not too young, and not too old. I know that’s vague, but I hate setting hard limits. If you are into instagram influencers you probably aren’t as mature as I’d prefer and if you only write letters in cursive you’re probably too….seasoned for me. Again, this is flexible.

What I’m looking for: Call it an affair if you’d like. But I’m not looking for a love affair, and not necessarily a physical one. I do enjoy sexting and fantasizing but that’s not necessarily my goal as I already have online friends for that and am looking to fill other holes in my life (pun intended). I’m really just looking for a good local friend to chat with daily and if there’s an attraction there that develops and flirting happens I’m willing to see where it goes.

I very much do prefer someone local. I’m willing to chat with someone outside of the area, but for the sake of what I’m looking for I don’t see that working out long term unless we really hit it off. I’d like to have the option to meet in person if the right connection is made. If not, I’d like to at least find a good local online only friend.

So…that’s a pretty narrow window that I’m looking for, but that’s what I want.
