Well, I'm here after learning some things. While generally I'm pretty easy going and open to anything, I've found some things just don't blend very well with my life.
To start, I'm a married big guy in my 40s who is missing intimacy. I’m 5’9” and 260 lbs and a big nerd.
I don't tend to specify any physical preferences because comparability is so much more important. I don’t care that much if you’re short or tall, thin or thick, blonde or brunette, black or white. I find most women beautiful and especially so when we connect as friends.
I’m looking for quality over quantity. I’m down for quantity when we can, but if our schedules don’t work I’ll wait. Anticipation just heightens the good stuff.
A couple things that I've found don't work well for me:
Long distance: I find maintaining a chat relationship without an in person one difficult. I'm not saying I won't try, just that things always seem to drift off.
Schedule: I have a lot of daytime availability during the week and very little evening/weekend time. I work an unusual schedule and it works best if you have daytime availability too. It's very hard to connect with someone working a traditional non-flexible 9 to 5.
These aren't deal breakers, as an old married round (I'm in shape, round is a shape.) guy I don't want to be too picky, but my experience in those situations hasn't been ideal.
Are you still here? Tell me what you nerd out on, what book you're reading, or something interesting I didn't think of.
